Instructions

  1. Rub seasonings onto both sides of steaks.
  2. Preheat the skillet on stovetop to medium high heat.
  3. Once heated, add the butter and olive oil to the skillet.
  4. Place steaks in skillet and cook for approximately 8 minutes each side.
  5. This will produce a medium well steak. Check the internal temperature using a food thermometer to ensure its cooked to your preference.

Final cooked temperature should be:

Rare 130 to 140 degree F

Medium rare 145degree F

Medium 160 degree F

Well done 170 degree F
