Slow cooker turkey breast – Since I am cooking for just two, I did not want to cook an entire turkey for Thanksgiving holiday this year. A more doable option is to just cook the best part of the turkey – the turkey breast. Its great for white meat lovers and is also low in fat. To make this even easier, I cooked the turkey breasts in the slow cooker and this also ensured an incredibly tender and juicy entrée. Turkey Breast Slow Cooker
Servings 4
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 4-6 hours
Ingredients
- 1 lb turkey breast
- 3 cups vegetable stock approximate
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season the turkey breasts with all the seasonings.
- Place turkey breasts in slow cooker.
- Carefully pour vegetable stock in the slow cooker. It should be enough to cover the turkey breasts.
- Cook on high 4-6 hours.
- Remove from slow cooker. Garnish with rosemary if desired. Enjoy!
